My take on the first part of "Night" by Elie Wiesel (p. 1-26)
First, I think the author included the part about Eliezer’s interactions with Moshe the Beadle because it was an important part of the story; it could also be more important in the future (after page 26). Also, I think that Moshe the Beadle might be important to know later in the story. He might do something amazing like save people. I think he would feel heroic, and other people would feel grateful. No one was listening to Moshe the Beadle though so far. I think the lesson here is that we need to learn to listen to others better, unlike the people in “Night” did. It doesn’t mean that they deserved what happened, but it may have helped to listen to the warnings. Tragically, When Moshe the Beadle came back they just did not want to believe him, because they did not want it to be true. Then, I think Eliezer’s age definitely changed. It went from when he was twelve to when he was fifteen (pages 1-26). It sounds like his inner being changed too. I also think his attitude changed In a positive and negative way with after leaving his home.
Turkey Hunting Weekend
Turkey Hunting Weekend
True Story:
We were waiting in our blind. My mentor was calling in a turkey. He says shoot now. I fire I miss I reload forgetting completely how to use a shotgun. I fire again I try to reload I forget again. I fire again I miss again still not remembering how to cock a shotgun. I reload but I only have two more shots left. I shoot the last two times. I miss both times, The turkey was only ten yards away I think i could've hit it
Something New I Learned:
I learned that I shouldn’t let the adrenaline get the best of me and I should practice with the shotgun more often because that was my second time shooting a shotgun. The person that put on the hunt thought we were in a war with racoons because there was a raccoon den by our blind.
Someone I Met:
My mentor. I liked the way he was calling the turkeys. He had a different type of voice. He chewed tobacco and it looked fun. Someone called him “The chubby one” I think his name was Travis. He was a volunteer firefighter and works for the gas company checking the gauges on their pumps
Fail:
One fail I thought of was that I shot at a turkey with the shotgun five times an I missed all five times.
Facts:
Turkey hunting is hard. Normally beginners don’t get to hear a gobble of a turkey when they are hunting. You can use a bow or a shotgun in the spring. You can use a rifle/pistol/shotgun in the fall.
Opinion:
I think sometime I’m gonna go turkey hunting in the fall. That will be easy for me I bet. It’s easy to shoot a rifle. It’s hard to shoot a shotgun.
Rating:
I would rate the hunt a nine out of ten because the food was delicious. The only reason why I didn’t give it a ten was because I didn’t get a turkey. The turkey hunt was very fun and exciting. The highlight of the turkey hunt was either the food or getting the turkey near the blind.
Dialogue:
Michael heard a sound in a tree and asked what it was. Matt said I think it’s a bird or a raccoon or something. Travis looked into the tree and said Yeah it’s a racoon.

Pizza Man
One day a pizza man knocked on a door in a very creepy neighborhood. He was feeling freaked out about the place. He knocked very softly. The door opened and water came splashing out. The water spilled out onto the pizza man, and the pizza man saw a toad man. The toad man was wearing a blue shirt, and he had a house full of water. He also was very warty. The pizza man was drenched. The toad man grabbed the pizza and swam away. The pizza man swam after him. Then the pizza man grabbed the toad's leg, but the toad man shook him off with a powerful kick. Then the pizza man gave up. The pizza man walked out to find his moped. The sneaky toad had broken it and crumbled it to pieces. He walked back to the pizza shop, soaking. When he had no money, he was fired.

writing class #1
You fall into a pit of magical goo. When you come out, you realize you cannot swim. But you can jump very high. So you jump out and you realize you are in a world of jumping toads. The toads have very small body's. You look at you're arms and you are a toad too. You are also shrinking.

Coyote Skinning
Coyote Skinning
This is a new video I watched. I watched this video because I am planning on going coyote hunting in April. I liked this video specifically because it runs you through every step and tells you how to fix it if you mess up.

About Me 2016
A few of my hobbies are hunting, fishing, camping, church, biking, running. One reason I like hunting is because I grew up in the country where hunting is popular. I like biking and running because they keep me active and healthy. I have four allergies. They are soy, gluten, fish, and red food coloring. I think that the most important things in my life are my grandparents/parents and my sister. As you can see these are some of my hobbies/interests, allergies, loved ones.
